So, I just had our first baby (woo!) and my husband has been so amazing during this whole thing. Being so helpful and very hands on with our son.

Yesterday, he was holding him and rocking him, just looking at me. I could tell he was trying to hold back tears. I asked him what was wrong, and he broke down saying “I’m just so thankful for you, and for my group” (he was in foster care, and the group he is in is a group that works with kids in foster care). He broke down harder and said “I could be sitting in jail right now if it wasn’t for the group. But instead, I’m sitting here, with my beautiful wife, and our beautiful baby boy. I just am so thankful. I have a lot to be thankful for.”

Y’all I cried so hard hearing that lol. I’m looking forward to navigating parenthood with him ♥️ I’m truly lucky to have someone so caring 😭
