My hsg test was like torture, none of my iui procedures were painful.

My first IUI was a bit like a pap smear. It stung and bled a little for a few hours,take a pantyliner with you for afterwards would be my advice. Good luck!

My first one was very uncomfortable, and painful. But the past 3 (I’ve had 4 done total) weren’t painful, just some minor bloating and cramping- totally bearable

Hsg test was uncomfortable and left me bloated, crampy, and miserable for about 24 hrs. IUI was fine...like a pap. Although, she used a speculum with no lube so that monent was not fun...other than that, didnt feel a thing.

Mine didn’t hurt at all. No pain, could barely feel it; didn’t even know when they were done! I think everyone is different and since you can’t know beforehand, just take the drugs they tell you beforehand and stay optimistic yours won’t hurt!

My HSG was horrible! Like worst pain I've ever felt. My first IUI was not bad at all just a little pinch. My 2nd IUI was more painful but not near as bad as the HSG and way quicker

The only thing that was uncomfortable for me for my hsg test was the speculum, and it was the same for my iui. Otherwise, both were painless.
