So, I've been off birth control for about a week (specifically the mini pill). Yesterday I had terrible cramps all day and some small blood clots here and there. I put on a pad cause I just knew my period was coming but it seems to just be thick sticky mucus. I'm still crampy today and just very fatigued and wearing a pad again. I feel like I'm just oozing but no blood- only a few little clots. I generally don't have a regular cycle and I'm praying this is a period to get my cycle regulated. I've lost 30 pounds in the past 8 months to improve my fertility for this time coming off the pill. I want a baby so bad! Is this a sign that my period is starting? I realize my hormones are probably crazy since I've been on the mini pill for about 5 years due to my irregular cycles.
