So I have an appointment Monday. I will be 38 weeks and 5 days. My doctor said I could get a sweep then but I noticed that most women when they get a sweep at 39 weeks it’s more effective. Idk if I should change my appointment 2 days later so I can be 39 weeks or just get it done that day since I’ll be 2 days away from 39 and if it doesn’t work to get another one at 39+5. I’m just so anxious to meet my baby. I was on bed rest for preterm labor since 32 weeks and I’m so ready for him to be here just because they put in your mind that he can be born any day and now it feels like he doesn’t want to come out. I’m 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced as of my appointment last week. What do you ladies think I should do?
