Zofran in early pregnancy?

Question

I have bad nausea, they first prescribed reglan it didn’t do anything.
They said no to zofran initially because they said it’s not recommended before 12 weeks.
Then they told me I could use it since nothing else was working.
I don’t know what to do

My doctor gave me zofran at my very 1st appointment before 7 weeks...didnt mention any risks. He gave it like it was normal(I haven't taken any, havent needed it) but he did prescribe it like it was nothing.

I’ve heard lots of issues with Zofran, with my daughter I was so sick I couldn’t keep ANYTHING down. Lost 33 lbs, was prescribed phenergan but it gave me headaches and zofran. Doc didn’t mention any risks... I looked it up and saw its been linked to some issues. I took it only when I ABSOLUTELY had to. I didn’t want to risk issues with my baby when I could just deal with the vomiting. I did take it probably 1-2 times a month. My daughter is almost 2 and perfect. 
I’m now pregnant @ 10w5d and I told the doc I’m struggling he said after 10 weeks they don’t worry about prescribing it so he did prescribe it for me. But I still don’t take it... I take phenergan instead (even if it gives me a headache).

Did you try b6 and unisom or diclegis?

I took zofran before 12 weeks. I couldn't even keep water down..it did virtually nothing for the nausea, just helped keep the little bit of food or drink down. My baby is 2 and perfectly healthy.
