January baby- cold and flu season

Li

As an RN, one of my concerns is the tons of family and friends that will want to come see our baby girl when she comes in January. That includes little kids in our family who inevitably will be carrying the germs of cold and flu season (and who’s parents choose to not vaccinate)

Obviously people will be asked to wash their hands, but bacteria and viruses live all over people’s bodies and I am worried about them wanting to hold, kiss, etc our baby when she will have essentially no immune system. Any one else thinking about this?
