Am I having contractions ?

So every couple hours I've been having these short intense period like cramps . Definitely not consistent but I'm not sure if those are contractions . I'm  FTM and I'm 34 weeks 4 days

5 - are you having contracting like pains 5 minutes apart
1 - are they lasting for a minute long 
1 - has it been for an hour long 
If yes, go to hospital!

This chart is what I use to determine mine. From what your are saying it sounds like BH aka practice contractions. You can always call your OB if you are worried about them though :)

Sounds like it! I’ve been contracting for a week now and I’m already 1cm dilated at 34 weeks.

34 weeks and 3 days here and same thing is happening to me. FTM also.
