I know most people are going to think this is stupid, but I never gave my first daughter a pacifier (nor would she take one) and I was weirdly very proud of that. I’m in the dental field. Welp, my LO is 3 weeks and 3 days old, and today I just gave in and gave her one. She was non stop nursing for hours. And it’s not like shes not getting enough, she’d pull off and it would go everywhere. Every time I’d lay her down, she would wake back up. My almost 2 year old needs some time with mommy. So, I popped the pacifier in her mouth and she’s been a happy camper. Part of me is like, yes.. my nipples get a moment of freedom, and then the other part of me is looking into the future of fighting her to take it away before she’s one because pacifiers and teeth don’t go good together!! Ugh 😑
