To those that did PGS testing..did you pick the gender for your transfer?

We thawed our frozen embryos to PGS test and they asked if we wanted to pick the gender we transfer. I feel weird about it. My husband and I both want a boy, It just feels so odd to me.

We did PGS testing and I thought it was going to be the coolest thing in the world to be able to pick. Once it came down to it, I couldn’t decide. I just told them to put the best quality embryo in. We didn’t want to know right away, so they gave us an envelope with the gender in it and we opened it after our 12 week ultrasound. We’re having a boy! 💙

We definitely picked our gender.  We spent all that money finding out and all that time getting here.  Science is so cool, and if I'm going to use science, then I'm going all the way with science.  Baby boy on his way!

We didn't have a choice. All our embryos are boys!

We never ended up with more than one embryo so it was never an option for us. I don’t think I’d be able to choose. I’d feel so guilty. I have a beautiful daughter from my second IVF. Hoping for a healthy baby this time around. Good luck with your decision!

I wouldn’t do testing just to find out gender but if I was having testing done anyway, and the quality was all the same, then I wouldn’t mind picking based off of gender.

I have to do IVF for a surrogate if I want a child. This was asked by my sister. My husband and I talked about it (even though the IVF isn't set in stone at this point) and we decided not to. 
I've had dreams before I ever got pregnant that I was and I've sadly have had dreams of losing every time also. Before I lost my daughter , I had a dream (before finding out it was a girl) that I was holding a baby boy. The amount of love I had for this child was so strong and I woke up with that feeling. 
So because everything else has come true I feel that we will end up doing IVF and it'll be a boy.

Yes, we already have a boy (conceived naturally) and I would love a girl for our second.  We’re scheduled for next month.

My friend did a surprise for her first IVF kid but she’s planning to choose the opposite sex for her second.
