Would you think of Desiree as a stripper’s name?

I really like this name but people keep telling me it reminds them of a stripper name. I don’t want my daughter to grow up having any weird feelings about her name. What do you ladies think?

I’m offended, my name is Desirea and I’m not a stripper lmao 😂 but no, like in all seriousness, I’m white as can be and every time people meet me they go, “oh, I pictured you as a black woman because of your name.” Like damn, I didn’t know a name could be racial profiled. Tbh, most "normal" names are names I've heard strippers use just because the clubs in my area require normal names. Even names as basic as Sara I've heard strippers use. Dont worry about that when choosing a name. No one will automatically think "stripper".

I know a girl named Pasia, who was named after her mom's stripper friend 😂😂😂 but Desiree to me doesn't sound like a stripper name, and neither did Pasia.. bet you there's a stripper out there named Kendall 🤷🤷😂 oh well

I have never thought about Desiree as a stripper name however I know 3 Desiree’s and 2/3 of them do heroin and meth so I am not a fan of the name just due to personal experiences, lol.
