Having an adolescence go to Special Ed classes due to anger issues.

I don’t believe an adolescence with anger issues should be put in Special Ed because I think the adolescence will become too comfortable to grow.

The environment of a Special Ed class is to make adjustments suited to each student, along with their specific needs. So a person with differences can be accepted by their peers and thrive while learning. Therefore, I’m worried that if a child with anger issues is put into a class like this, it won’t expose them to how problematic their actions can be. Adolescence with anxiety (from what I’ve seen) are placed in mainstream classes. Here, the adolescence can be encouraged to talk, raise their hand, and generally improve their mental wellbeing. There is usually also an arrangement between the school and the individual that allows for a ‘time-out’ if needed. I believe having an adolescence with anger issues attend mainstream classes would be the most beneficial for their growth.
