Signs they were the one?

Question

Before officially going out with someone, did you ever get signs that they were the one when you were doubting yourself beforehand 
Like “signs from the universe”
(This is for ppl who believe in signs)

Yeessssss actually 
But we've only been dating a month really, talking a bit over 2 months. 
I got 2 signs, they're complicated to explain and take a lot of very personal backstory, 
But basically I burst into tears when I realized why I liked him so much, it was the way he looked at me, the same way a past lover & best friend had looked at me, but he died in my home & for years I have been so sad for many reasons, one being the loss of someone looking at me that way. I meet this guy, our eye contact brought me to him, 
But when I realized he looked at me LIKE THAT, I felt I was given a second chance to have a partner, and it was very difficult to question what "the universe" wanted me to do. 
In the past, I was too afraid to be with the guy that died, but I have seen the error of my ways and regretted it for years...
I don't know, the situation here has a lot of parallels with the past situation, but this situation is much healthier circumstantially.
This is the best relationship I've ever been in, it's hard on me right now to be vulnerable again, but I love him and I respect him and I would like to see it grow. It's not perfect, I've never had a very healthy relationship so I'm unsure how this is supposed to go. Like I wish we could get to know each other faster! Lol at the same time, I'm just so grateful he is here & wants to be with me!?

I definitely believe in signs. My boyfriend and I met in highschool since 9th. We weren’t too close we just had mutuals. I randomly one day had a dream that he kissed me and I never thought of him that way wasn’t even really attracted to him. That same day I wake up go to school and it’s the first day him and I talked and got to know each other a little more and I thought wow it’s so weird cause it happened the same day. So after that happened I got the hugggggest crush on him and I never knew if he liked me back. We always skipped school together and I even visited my moms therapist once just to say hi and he was there with me and she asked if we were dating and we said no and she’s laughed and said “ not yet “. I found all of those so bizarre as if it’s was meant to be but he still never showed interest so I just kept my crush a secret. Sometimes he would walk me home from school and he was just so friendly with everyone I never thought he liked me. 
Fast forward to summer before 11th grade started I randomly get on Facebook which I never did and I see a message from him saying him and my closest friends were going to all hang out ( I was upset that they never invited me so I declined because they were supposed to be my best friends not him so why was he inviting me. ) so he said ok well can me and you just hang out so I invited him over to my house and we played Mario 64 and had dinner with my mom. He came over often and we texted all the time after that. I also hung out with a few other friends so it would be us in a group and one night after we all watched a movie he went home and I got a text where he said (this isn’t exactly what he said I can remember but it was along the lines of this ) 
“ I think we should give us a chance would you like to be my girlfriend and if not it’s ok. If it doesn’t work then at least I tried ) I ran to my moms room and asked her what should I say because I was terrified of it not working and losing him but I said yes and girl the relationship part is a whole different lonnnnng story but we had our ups and downs but we’re still together 5 years later and I want to marry him. We have a son and a baby girl on the way. So yes I definitely believe in the universe giving signals. If it wasn’t for that dream I probably would have never saw him in that way.
