First timer!! Jello consistency fluid after retrieval
I had my egg retrieval today and the embryologist mentioned an outlier follicle. The fluid that was extracted with a (1 out of 7) follicle was not a liquid consistency at all. It was described as a jello consistency and did not contain an egg. Has anyone ever heard of this? It'll be sent out for pathology but I couldn't find any info explaining this. Any ideas?!?!?!
