Sister-in-law moved in
Hey ladies,
So back in June my sister-in-law moved in with my husband and I. We’re young and have only been married for just over a year.
My SIL moved to our city and needed a place to live after leaving a bad work environment.
My husband and I both thought that when she moved in she would start looking for a job within a month after taking some time to recover from her old job. However, she isn’t looking for a job, but got involved in an MLM. She’s spending most of her time on that, and talks about not moving out until after New Years. I was expecting her to only stay the summer.
My husband knows that I’m ready for her to leave. I mean I have a good relationship with my SIL, but also we’re newly married. I don’t want to be selfish, but I feel like I’m being robbed of the time that it is just mean to be the two of us.
We’ve also talked about having kids soon, and I don’t want to be pregnant while his sister is still living with us.
Any suggestions how to gently handle this issue?
