How long at dilated to a 3?

With my first baby 3 years ago I went for my 36 week apt at 36.5 weeks and was dilated to 3 then had him the next morning. This time I went to my apt at 36.5 weeks and was dilated to 3 again. How long have people been dilated to 3 before actually having baby? Could it still be a while (1.5-2 weeks)?

With my first I was dilated at 3cm starting at 37 weeks.... didn’t have her til 40 weeks and 2 days (and that was with induction)

With my 1st I was dilated to 3 at 37 weeks and stayed that way all the way up until my induction at 39+6 weeks.

Ok thank you! I should have asked at my appointment but I was just curious. Last time was a big surprise the next morning but so far I’ve made it farther this pregnancy than last. Maybe I’ll go another couple weeks then!

With my first I was dilated to 3cm around 37w and didn’t have her until 40+6 (induction) 
With my second I was dilated to 3cm around 37w also and didn’t have her until 39 exactly (induction). 
So pretty much my body stalls out at 3cm it seems like
