Postpartum workout: help!

Hello all!

So I had my little girl on July 1st if this year, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I am lucky enough to be able to be a stay at home mom with her (although I’ve worked since I was 14, so this is weird and extremely new to me. I’m 24 now.) While I’m still getting used to my normal routine with my daughter now, I’m really hoping to fit working out into that routine.

I’ve never really been one to work out. Believe me, I’ve tried. Bought gym memberships, went strong for a week, then decided it wasn’t for me. I have asthma as well which doesn’t help the situation.

Now I’m just looking for suggestions for workouts other moms have used. I gained A LOT of weight during my pregnancy. I originally weighed 130 lbs and by the end I was up to 182 lbs. I am now down to 160 lbs just from the birth itself and I guess naturally just getting rid of some of the extra chub.

I’ve always been between 125-135lbs but rarely get heavier than that.

I also have noticed I’m eating a lot of junk and almost can’t control it. I don’t eat when I’m alone with my daughter unless it’s something small like a pop tart because anytime I cook a meal it’s like she knows I’m eating and decides she needs attention immediately. So typically when my husband gets home and settled in and helps with her I just shove my face with food. I don’t know if it’s because I get stir crazy in the house or what but I cannot control my urges to just eat.

So what do/did you guys do? Anyone have any app suggestions? I’ve read plenty on Pinterest and online on what I should/shouldn’t do, but I’m hoping for opinions.

My goal is to be able to fit back in this rose skirt that I have and love.

Pictured bellow I have me in the skirt early this year. I also included before and end of pregnancy photos, as well as postpartum photos.

I just would love to lose the weight. Any suggestions help! Sorry for the long post about weight loss. 😂

Postpartum pics. I kind of just muffin top out of my pants and none of my old clothes fit so I rock maternity still or leggings and big ass tee shirts.
