So my first pregnancy happened right away when we started trying (not trying to sound obnoxious, I realize so many people struggle but this is my story!) And I had my now 1 year old son at age 33. Now we got pregnant after 2 months of trying and I'm 34. I went to my doctor yesterday to get blood test confirming my pregnancy. I asked him since my first pregnancy was healthy and simple, is it more likely my second will be as well, while I also know there are risks at every turn. He said how at 34 half my eggs are no good, and the main risk is miscarriage.. he went on and on about miscarriage like if it happens, I just accept it and keep trying. I'm like why are we talking about this when I'm not in that boat and hopefully won't be !! Just want your opinions... since I got pregnant both times easily, are things more inclined to go smoothly? I guess I'm hoping to hear what I want to hear. This is so stressful ! Also, it sucks cause I want more kids but if everything goes smoothly this time, I am done at 2 !
