Not Sure If Normal?

Question

My son is almost 12 weeks old and he is starting to do something that I don't know if it's normal or not. He'll spread his arms, stiffen his body, and make an "eh" noise in a quick, repetitive pattern. I tried attaching a video, but it wouldn't let me. He will sometimes cry after doing it, it only lasts a few seconds.

It sounds like a “fall” reflex, my daughter does that whenever she is feeling like she will fall. Arm out and makes a face with an “eh” sound. She can just be lying down falling asleep and sometimes she does it like she’s trying to catch herself from falling or brace herself for the fall so to speak

my little guy does this sometimes too, it’s like he’s having a little freak out or something right??
it first happened a few weeks ago when i was changing his nappy; it happened a few times and i figured out it was when i used a cold baby wipe on his genitals, i think it was uncomfortable for him! 
but then he woke up from a nap yesterday doing it and started screaming! i picked him up and gave him lots of cuddles and soothing talk and he seemed ok after that.
it’s really disconcerting when it happens 😟

My little one does this as well and for him it’s definitely gas. It sometimes takes 5 minutes for him to burp but after he doesn’t do it anymore and seems super happy :)

Could it be from gas or constipation? My son goes stiff and grunty when he’s gassy

My son does that when he’s uncomfortable and needs to be burped. Sometimes it takes a while to get him to burp but he settles after that
