My little sister is 6 and my mom brestfed her until she was 3. I'm planning on going back to work soon so my mom started pumping so we could stock up on brestmilk for my son that I had in November. My son was exclusively brestfeeding and until he was 6 months he refused to take a bottle. When he was 5 months old I had my wisdom teeth taken out and I could not breastfeed him so my mother was giving him a bottle. He screamed and screamed and starved for most of the day. I had the anesthesia in my body so I had to pump and dump. I couldn't hear him cry anymore so I asked my mom to wet nurse him for that day and calm him. Her milk had already come back in and he needed to eat. My 6 year old sister thought it was funny and she took a photo of my mom nursing my son on her phone. (An old phone that doesn't work without wifi) When my little sister went to her fathers house last week my mom allowed her to take her phone for the first time over there and her father took it and looked through the whole thing. He saw the photo, sent it around and told people that my mom was molesting my son and dry nursing him. Now someone called cps on us. I'm not worried that they will take my son because my son is happy and healthy and I take very good care of him. I'm just so hurt and I cant believe this is really happening. I do the best I can do for my son. My doctor said my moms milk is fine to give him and that wet nursing is normal. Why are people like this?
