Baby acne or ezama?

I’m gonna ask at her 2 month appointment but that’s in another 2 weeks. It looks like baby acne but her skin is ROUGH. like it’s not just the bumps, her skin just feels really rough!! Any recommendations?!

Put hydrocortisone cream my baby was like that and the doctor gave her that prescription worked great

The roughness most likely comes from dry skin! I have eczema and see it in my LO too (2 months old), so I avoid showers/baths everyday so the body learns to make its own oils, and only put unscented natural creams/oils. Also if the red dots gets worse during feeds/awake time and settles while they’re asleep, it’s most likely your hormones through breastmilk and that will go away naturally most of the time. Hope it clears up soon x

If you have breast milk put some on her face lol it sounds weird but I promise it worked for my babies acne

My doctor said it’s baby acne and prickly heat combo, she recommended putting some hydrocortisone cream 1% on it. I did for 2 days in a row and my LO’s went away almost the next day. I putting it on when she gets a little break out. Hope this helps 😊

Following because they told me baby acne but it's no longer bumpy like it was so I'm thinking it's not.
