Just completed my registry but...?

So I just finished my baby registry, and I feel guilty/bad putting the more expensive items/items that could be bought cheaper on there. I sent it to my mom and she was like “the cheaper items you picked for a b and c have reasons why they are the cheaper option. For example the baby carrier you picked, has been recalled many times, and is just not a good option. I’d suggest x y or z” I changed it as I did do more research into it and did see the issues she was talking about, I picked the moby instead, however I then realized that I went from a 25$ item to a 40$ item and I felt bad.

Does anyone else feel this way? I also wasn’t going to put my stroller system, crib, or any of the “larger” items on there as I didn’t want to be asking too much.

She said it’s normal to feel that way, but worst comes to worse our guests don’t buy those items and we end up buying them ourselves anyway.

So does anyone else really feel this way or am I just the odd ball out
