Drainage from incision

Two weeks PP I went to have my incision checked there was some brown drainage and a slight odor, I was aware of the odor but I’ve had 6 kids and after delivery this odor was familiar so it didn’t alarm me. This was my second c-section so I felt a whole lot better than the first. I started driving on day 10, short distances but I’m still guilty I already know. My NP gave me alcohol pads and told me to clean my incision, keep it dry. Now I’m fearing infection please tell me something good.
