Ovulation twice in 1 month possible?

Question

So I confirmed my ovulation on August 31st with a blazing positive opk (see below) and temping. After ovulation, my opk’s went back to negative.
I’m now 12 DPO and my opk’s are getting darker again. Negative hpt but I know implantation could have happened as soon as 2 days ago.
Is it possible to ovulate twice in one month?  
I have on average 46-50 day cycles (doctors have no medical reason why and say I’m healthy) so I was curious if it’s possible to ovulate twice in one month?

It is possible to ovulate twice in one month but I will say I sometimes get a positive opk or a dark one right before my period even if I don’t ovulate again.

Ovulation strips become darker again before your period. Many people think this is a sign of pregnancy but it’s not. That’s not to say that you’re out this month, but the ovulation test wouldn’t detect hcg in your urine until way after an hpt would. So just wait until that missed period and test with an hpt every other day :)

You can have a surge of LH before your period and that’s typically why you’ll see darker lines on an OPK close to your period starting. We have LH running through our system all of the time so we have random surges but the main surge is just before you ovulate.

It’s possible, but not likely. Your hormone levels are whacky after you ovulate, which produce some surges for the opk strips. Once you ovulate, stop using the opk for the month (but keep on BD’ing!)
