How to combat oily skin???

Question

I have super oily and acne prone skin. I haven't found a foundation/primer combo that I can wear for more than like two hours before I get shiny 😩 If I try and dab up the oil with blotting pads or tissue my makeup lifts right off my face! I cant wear sunglasses when I have foundation on because it rubs off my makeup where they were sitting. I love wearing makeup and being creative with it but it feels like such a waste when I can only wear it for such a short time before it starts to look bad

Stick to strictly matte foundations!! I tried using a dewy one and that just melted right off cause of my oily skin lol & also use creams that are oil free!!! That’s a big one & try using matte primers also

Use Mailani primer oil free, and use setting spray after you do all of your makeup. Just make sure you get one thats dull matte and non oil/shine.

I’m gonna lay down a bunch of info for ya because I’ve had oily skin my entire life and I’ve learned a lot from personal experience. Lol.
•despite what anyone says, DONT use a ton of matte/oil free products on your face, at least NOT very often. The reason why is because it promotes MORE oil production. Your skin becomes damaged/irritated when you remove matte makeup so people with oily, sensitive skin should not make it their go-to. Try to find a thick, non-matte non-dewy (somewhere in the middle) full coverage CONCEALER stick to use on the oiliest parts of your face, and matte foundation everywhere else! It’s much better on the skin.
•don’t use drying lotions/clay masks often. They just absorb oil and encourage the skin to produce more. When you get up in the morning, gently wash your face with a small amount of your favorite cleanser and a lot of water, pat dry, and use a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid. It fights acne but doesn’t mess with your skins pH/over dry. 
•believe it or not, one of the best ways to fight oily skins is to fight the oil with more oil. It sounds funny but it works. Not too much though! Tea tree oil to deep cleanse, rose oil to brighten is my recommendation. Just enough to moisturize your skin enough so that it produces less oil. Over time, your skin will slowly become less oily, brighten up and be much less acne/blackhead prone! 
Also if you can, grab yourself a rose water spray! Missing the face with it when you start to feel slick is much better for your skin than constant washing.

Girl! I’m acne prone and have super oily skin and I use Mary Kay! I love love love it! I use their translucent powder, makeup primer, and the new TimeWise 3D Matte foundation 😍😍😍 I love love love it and their other makeup products! Lash intensity mascara is my fave!

I have oily skin too but you could also change your skincare routine to help with your oily skin. For instance don't use products that dry out your skin that makes your skin worse. Use products that help with pore clearing and moisturizing, once you do this you may have a better chance with your skin not being so oily while wearing makeup. For me once I changed my skincare routine my face doesn't get as oily when wearing makeup.
