Can I add fresh breast milk to cooled milk collected that day?

As the question states. I'm new to pumping, and I'm expressing small amounts between feeds and a whole day might make around 4oz, so instead of storing loads of little bottles can I just keep adding to the same bottle? Cooled in fridge not frozen btw.

You have to cool the fresh milk so it’s all the same temperature before combining. I always would combine and freeze at the end of the day.

I’m pumping too but I read that you should let the fresh pumped milk cool down first before you mix it with the other milk in there. 😊I just usually put the bottles I pumped in in the fridge and once I’m ready to pump again, I pour it into the same container.

Just cool to the same temp. For example, leave the new milk in the bottle in the fridge then add to the previous bottle once its chilled.
