I went to the hospital with contractions 8 minutes apart at 28 weeks, was prescribed procardia, got 2 rounds of steriod shots and sent home after a few hours. At 33 weeks came home from work and my water was leaking and had contractions at 5 minutes apart. Went to the hospital where i was given 2 more rounds of steriods and was on a magnesium drip for 3 days to stop the contractions. Stayed 4 more days until they scheduled my csection. My little boy was born at 34 weeks. He was 5lb4oz and needed no oxygen. He was put on an iv sugar drip to help his sugar levels for a week and a half. He was under the heat lamp for a week before they turned it off and put clothes on him and swaddled him. He had a feeding tube for 11 days. He only had to stay 14 days. Im so thankful for the nicu nurses. Hes 5 months now and about 14 lbs 🥰 Just wanted to share my story 💜💙
