I’m in college and my roommate has diagnosed OCD. She moved in a week ago and the room is getting really bad. She hasn’t unpacked and left all of her stuff on the floor. Her trash is piling up and she has created a mountain of trash that is leaning against the wall, so now she’s resorting to throwing her food trash in our bathroom which causes the bathroom to stink. I asked her when she plans on unpacking and all she said was “I don’t know, I’m lazy.” She skips classes and stays in bed all day and it’s driving me crazy because she won’t put her stuff away. Roaches are coming into our room because of her and I told her and she shrugged and replied “oh I don’t mind roaches” like wtf at least be considerate that you live with another person. I plan on taking to my RA about this, but do you have any tips on how to live with an OCD person?
