Seeing spots - hypertension or preeclampsia

For those that developed hypertension or preeclampsia....

I had my blood pressure checked on Wednesday and was totally fine. No protein in the urine. Today I’ve had slight nausea and sparkles or spotty vision, especially when I cough (post nasal drip) or go from sitting to standing. It’s past closing time for my OB - so I’m waiting for a return call. I’m far from L&D and would hate to drive there with nothing wrong.

For that that did develop concerns what did your vision look like? Does this sound like routine third trimester stuff or more of an issue?

Normal? Or concerning?
