Hi there, 
I'm taking a breastfeeding safe birth control and I'm almost through my first month of taking it. Next week will be one month since I got my first period back since giving birth and I've yesterday is the third separate time I've been bleeding. I bleed August 18 - 23 then August 30 to September 3rd and I just started bleeding yesterday, the 13th. Is this normal? I'm almost 3 months postpartum.

Yea, that’s normal with progestin only methods. They’re most known for causing irregular bleeding patterns. That can include longer time frames with or without bleeding, random bleeding, or frequent bleeding, at any given time. And, such irregular bleeding is especially common during the first 3-6 months.
