How long of a maternity leave are you planning to take?
My boss wants to meet on Wednesday to talk about my maternity leave. It’s a small company so anything I take will be unpaid. She’s been hinting that she only wants me to take 6 weeks but I can’t imagine being ready to go back at 6 weeks. Ideally I want 12 Weeks with 8 solid weeks and between 8-12 I’m happy to start coming in a few days a week or working from home. Do you think that’s an unreasonable request and how long is normal to take off?
