Mama in desperate need of advice

Mama in desperate need of advice. My daughter is 14 months and refuses to nap in her crib. I made the ftm mistake of holding her for naps ever since she was born because I just loved her so much I couldn't put her down. She sleeps all night without issue in her crib at night but naps are a hard no. I have been trying to let her cry it out but it just doesn't seem to be working. I wait until she's very tired and I carry her in her room telling her it's time for a nap. I lay her down and she immediately stands up and starts screaming. I've tried to lay her back down and put my hand on her chest but she gets back up instantly. I've tried repeatedly laying her back down and not letting her get back up but as soon as I walk away she's up again. I've tried leaving her for 30-45min letting her stand there and cry and only after that time I go back in and lay her down. It's the same vicious cycle over and over again. We've gone on like that for almost 3 hours, which at that point she's missed her nap and our normal lunch time. I don't know what to do but I have to figure out something. My husband and I are wanting to start trying for baby number 2 but I can't have a newborn if she is still napping on me. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Please no negative comments as I am trying my best. Picture for attention.
