Would the plan b work ?

I’m in my fertile period (ovulating) .. if I were to take a plan b would it work ? I heard from someone on this app that it wouldn’t work because I’m ovulating.

Plan B does not work very well if a guy ejaculated inside you in the 24 hours before ovulation and you took Plan B after the sex. It also does not work after his sperm already fertilized your egg.
Ella/EllaOne wirks much better close to ovulation, but you need a prescription for it.
Just an explination of your fertile window: Sperm can live around 5 days inside your fallopian tube. Ovulation is a single event that takes about 15 minutes a day before your fertile window ends. So anything that stops ovulation will prevent pregnancy.

Unless you’re logging OPK or BBT data, the app is only guessing. If you need Plan b, take it even if the app says you’re in your fertile window.
