Efficiency ?

Question

So for a week now our feedings have been way quicker.. 40 mins .. to 20 mins .. to 6 mins on one boob .... son is 10 weeks 
My question is to second time moms when and how did you notice your babe get more efficient? 
Was it overnight or should I be concerned ? 
I can get him back on the boob but he either spits it out or falls asleep.
If he falls asleep won’t eat till the next feeding ? (Usually 2 hrs between feeds)

My daughter is 10 weeks and she went from 30min feeds to 22 to now 12... I never know if she’s getting enough!

Wondering the same thing. Our son started doing this last week (at 11 weeks). He would consistently be around 10 mins per boob and suddenly now it’s like 6-8 on one boob and he seems done. Sometimes I give him a small bottle of breastmilk after bc I’m like 🤷🏼‍♀️. I’m starting to wonder if he is going to drop a feed soon. We currently feed him 7 times a day usually every 3 hours and he sleeps about 6-7 overnight. Would love to drop the late feed and start getting 9-10 hrs but I’m scared to be woken up at like 4 am when I have to work the next day.  Hope another mama has a good answer!
