I’ve seen a lot of mamas on here commenting on how ready you are for baby to be here at 36-37 weeks. I’m not judging because I felt the same way. This is my 3rd kid. First was born at 36 weeks with no issues. Second was born at 37 weeks with no issues. So I just knew that baby girl would be just fine as long as we made it to 36-37 weeks.

I had my baby early Saturday morning. I was 37 weeks and 2 days.

Here is the NICU team leaving with my baby to take her to another hospital while I still had to stay at the hospital where I had her.

Be patient! Yes, every single day matters and baby is much better off inside for as long as possible.

My husband was able to travel to the NICU to spend last night with baby since I couldn’t be there. Being in an empty hospital room hearing all the new babies around you, knowing that your baby isn’t even in the same building, is a terrible feeling.
