What age did your child start 8 month + crawler gerber extras like puffs and Meltables?

Just wonder nervous for solid ish foods but he’s crawling and has 2 bottom teeth and interested in adult food

Mines been eating real food since 6 months with no teeth.

Babies usually develop the pincher grasp around 8-12 months. Small foods like puffs or Cheerios can be difficult for baby to pick up until then. But you can give larger foods sooner, finger size pieces are good because baby can grasp them with a fist and feed it into their mouth.

I followed the recommendations on the package. If it was for 8 months I waited until he was 8 months. If it said 12 months I waited until he was 12 months.

My son has been eating pretty much whatever I eat (but cut up) since 6 months.  Never done baby food and we love it. It’s so easy.  I do give him “happy baby” crackers, puffs, and meltables when he just needs a snack.  I also broke these in half until he started chewing his food.
