Fun things I can do with my 4 1/2 month old?

I get out the house with her as much as I can and we chat loads, play with her toys etc but I just feel like we’re doing the same sort of thing every day, what fun things do you guys do with your little ones about the same age?

I never felt that my boy minded the repetition, he seemed to actually like it. Aside from toys I looked at books with him everyday, listened to classical music (usually the same pieces, because he recognized and enjoyed them), danced with him (had him in a carrier), sang to him... basically stimulated his senses. He also really loved it when I put a toy or cloth over his face and started asking where he is... always giggled when I removed it and said "THERE YOU ARE!!!". To this day it's his favourite game... he's 15 months old now and hides behind the curtains waiting for me to ask where he is before revealing himself! 🤣

We did swimming lessons around that age. It was a great way to force me to leave the house at least once a week. Met some other local moms and he got to meet 9 other babies. And learn to not be afraid of water. I would for sure recommend it.
