TVs in the bedroom?? A do or don’t for you?

I don’t believe in having TVs in the bedroom (in my home). For me, it’s a distraction from that personal time. You know, time for conversing with my significant other or other doing grown up things. The bedroom is just a really inmate space so I don’t like distractions. It’s bad enough that we have our phones. Well, the jokes on me!  I’m thought that would bring us closer but he just stays downstairs on that  video game which leaves me in the room alone anyway. Mission failed 🤣. Do you have a TV in your bedroom?

Yep! We have a bedroom in our room, always have. 
1) my husband goes to bed early and gets up at 4am for work. So I usually go to bed with him and he’s ok with me watching tv as he falls asleep
2) in the summer, ac is in our room, not the rest of the house
3) middle of winter we cuddle up under the blankets
And well, while your hanging out intimacy happens. So just because it’s on doesn’t mean that won’t happen.

We do have one, I love it. We often will snuggle up in bed and watch something before going to sleep. I don’t think it causes us to watch more TV... if we didn’t have it in the bedroom we’d probably watch the same amount but would do it on the couch in the living room instead lol. It’s cozier in bed sometimes. Plus it’s extra wonderful when I’m not feeling well!

Yup. We have a tv in every room. & for that reason, my husband plays his games & when he does me & the girls have the choice to watch what we want if we feel like watching tv!

We have a TV in our room. We talk constantly through the day so talking in bed isn't anything special or significant to us. We have certain shows and movies we put on like bedtime stories. My husband falls asleep easier with the background noise.

Yeah I do and I find it so relaxing and cozy lie up in bed watch a movie or tv binge on out favourite tv shows we always watch something we both like. Some times other things happen instead of watching the rest of the show or movie 😂.

Yes i have a tv in rhe bedroom and I love it. I love cuddling in bed watching tv and  I love when we are laying in bed watching tv because if he is watching his show he will give me massages and scratches for a long time.

We do. When we first put it in there it was because my husband couldn't stay awake after work long enough to hold a conversation, but I liked being near him as much as I could because he wasn't home a lot, so a tv went in there so I could be near him and he could sleep. I would of been a lot lonier if I was in the living room and he was in the bedroom, since he was only ever home long enough to squeeze in a couple hours of sleep before work again. Weird, but it helped my loneliness enough to get me by for a couple years until he started working less and we actually got time together at night. It was also the only way I could sleep because we lived alone in a new town and he left for work at 2-3am every morning and I'd get creeped out without something to fill the noise void so I could fall asleep. 
Now it's in there because the norm and we watch stuff together at night. Neither of us are big talkers, so it, again, fills the noise void. We're the type to enjoy being near each other even without conversation. It's never strained our sex life or relationship. It works for us. I think after so many years of it being there for me it became the normal and is fine for us
