Pumping question

Maybe this is silly question for someone. When you pump, do you let your LO eat from both boobs and than pump both of them or you give your LO one boob and use other for pumping?

I am trying to make a stash (don’t have supply issues) and I will usually allow my LO to eat and than I will use that same boob for pumping. But I am not getting much after my LO is finished eating, maybe 1-2 oz. And I am afraid to use the other boob because I am afraid that if my LO would like to eat more there is not going to be nothing for him 🙈

Please help with advices because this pumping is not going anywhere currently.
