Vasectomy and insurance

Question for those of you who either had or had husbands go through a vasectomy.

My husband is trying to get his planned for the 6 weeks I'll be out of commission recovering from labor. But our insurance literally only covers $60 out of nearly $700 😂😂 what a freaking joke. My husbands job will be getting a new plan November 1st which is suppose to be better, I'll still be recovering. So we are most likely just going to see what that plan covers. Which either way it'll be getting done regardless. But I just wanted to know other's expierence with insurance and vesectamy. I guess some won't cover any of it at all. Just mind blowing.
