So about a month or so ago, I started talking to this guy... And we met online, no big deal right? Well, we havent had a chance to meet in person because hes a long haul truck driver. We talk every day and video chat almost every night. A week ago he sends me a promise ring in the mail, he couldnt be home to actually just surprise me with it personally..not that big of deal, at least thats what I thought. Anyways, a lot of people are talking about how stupid and careless Im being with him.. Which in all honesty I'm not being careless at all. People make comments like theres red flags and youre not seeing them.. One night he happened to be really close to home,but I was at work, and he got a little upset that I couldn't leave work to go see him. We're both grown adults trying to make something work and hes not at all big on negativity, so its pretty much make everyone shut up and dont listen to them... Just venting and maybe looking for some advice that other moms have to offer.
