Breakup?

So I’m in a two year relationship and it’s coming to the point where I want to break up because he has lied to me on multiple occasions (about small things admittedly) however I have told him to stop and he said he’ll tell me the truth on multiple occasions but continues to lie afterwards. He also doesn’t know how to hold a conversation. Am I being to controlling? Should I break up with him? Give him another chance?

The way I look at it, if he’s ok with lying to you about minor things, imagine the major things he’s be ok lying about. 
If you’re unhappy, end it that way you can end your suffering and let him find happiness elsewhere.
