I will never understand why people call me weird for this but I think childbirth is beautiful. I watched one sister give birth vaginally and then watched another sisters c-section.

I always get told “ew! Birth is disgusting and painful as hell.”

Well yeah, there’s gonna be gross stuff like pooping yourself and being cut open and having your insides removed and I’ve watched my sister scream bloody murder “IT BURRNNNS” so yeah I know it’s painful. I’m not blind I saw and heard all that too. But beside all that, it was beautiful. Watching my nieces take their first breaths was absolutely beautiful and the best thing ever. Watching them be put on my sisters chest’s, beautiful.

Meeting a brand new person, beautiful. Being in those moments was the coolest and most beautiful thing ever.

That isn’t weird.
