Would you take your toddler on a blacklight run 5k? (In two months)

Question

His stroller would be facing us so no “blacklight powder” would be hitting him. It’s just colored cornstarch so not super dangerous but I’m debating whether or not we should take him. What do you guys think? I’m torn, but my husband is convinced it would be fine. Just trying to see if I’m being over protective or my worrying might be justified 😂

I wouldn't just because I try to stick to her bedtime. That and I wouldn't want to clean up that mess on the stroller lol

Absolutely! But I wouldn't bother with the stroller. I can't imagine trying to clean that mess up. Go with someone else and pass toddler back and forth while jogging (these events are normally very low key and the 2 I've done weren't even the full 5K according to my GPS watch) and walking. I did one at 38W when pregnant with my first and it took forever to get the powder out of my shoes.

Thanks ladies! I’ve decided to take him! He has a late bedtime it won’t interfere with and will be in a rear facing stroller so I see no problems, thanks for everyone’s input!!

At that age baby will probably be super nosy and I'd be worried about getting colored cornstarch in his eyes, nose, and mouth. My son recently got a small puff of cornstarch in his mouth when he dropped the baby powder container (I use it in his crocs to get his foot in smoothly) and he gagged like crazy until I was able to wipe it out/he spit it out.

I wouldn't only because I wouldn't want to mess with her bedtime like others have said. She just started sleeping through the night about a month ago. If you don't feel like it will mess with his sleep then go for it.
