My boss accuses me of being hungover

Mog

Alright. Little backstory, I don’t drink often even though I’m 23 and have not drank at all since I’ve started this job. I have repeatedly declined going to the club with his favorite employees and don’t even associate with the ones that do come in to work hungover or still drunk. So I’ve honestly given zero reason for him to assume this.

Now story time:

So this is the second time that I have called in sick in the four months that I’ve worked the job, but I get sick often. I have a terrible immune system and working with the public means I often catch whatever the customers come in with. The first time, a few months ago, I told him it was a stomach bug, went to the doctor and got a note stating it was indeed a stomach bug. And he asked then if I was sure I wasn’t just hung over. But I just brushed it off. Then yesterday, I tried calling in at 8 am when I first got sick. He told me to see if I felt better around 4:30pm when I was supposed to come in and call him then, so I did. I called and told him at 3:30 that I was still vomiting and couldn’t come. He told me that I absolutely had to come in, so me being the idiot I am, I did. When I got there, I started puking again and was then very loudly lectured about how me being hungover on a work day wasn’t okay and I needed to control my drinking. I told him that I don’t drink and was actually sick, he then goes to yelling at me for coming in and how he still didn’t believe me. Then he sent me home because (in his words) “if I was actually sick, I didn’t need to be there and I needed to take a pregnancy test because maybe I got knocked up.”

I don’t even want to go back to work tomorrow because I am still so angry. What should I do?

Edit: he also changed my shifts this week so I’m only getting 16 hours of work since I left work yesterday.
