Accidental natural (sorta) birth

They say you have a long labor with your first, well not always true 😂 I had been 3-4 centimeters dialated for a week now, I just scheduled an induction earlier (well yesterday now) for the 18th. Well at about 10:50 as I was laying in bed my water broke. Go to the hospital, get checked and am 5cm. Contractions just started once arriving st the hospital and the nurse asks if I want an epidural immediately or if I want to try iv pain meds. I opt for iv meds first, they’re getting that going and I’m complaining about feeling like I need to poop. They say thats a super common feeling from the pressure, a few minutes later I tell my husband it reallllllly feels like I need to push a turd😂 nurse decides to check me again, NINE CM. No time for an epidural. I’m trying not to push until the dr get here which suckeeeed.

Water broke-1030-1050 ish,

Son born- 12:54😂

7.5 pounds and 22 inches

Moral of the story, don’t think you have tons of time just because it’s your first😂
