Is castor oil ok to use after birth??

I'm having big problems with bowel movements, I sit on a toilet for 30 minutes in pain and nothing happens... I am 11 days after delivery, my bowels already opened a while ago, but every time I need to use a toilet I have problems...

Check with your doctor. Usually they have you on a stool softener after having a baby. I’m surprised they don’t have you on one. Your doctor can tell you what’s best to take.

Have you tried taking magnesium or stool softeners?

I think it’s fine, but maybe check with your doctor? I’ve never used it, but had luck taking Senna and Miralax.
