New baby and older kids misbehaving?

Has anyone had their baby and their older child turned into a total nightmare? My son is 5 and ever since I brought baby home, I don't recognize him. He was even sent home from school on Monday for bad behavior. This transition from only child to big brother is so rough and I hope it ends soon.

My two year old started throwing more tantrums. I mentioned it to my pediatrician when she asked how big sister was doing, her advice was to spend any sort of time little as it may be just doing things with her(not being a mom or dad ) ie coloring, building blocks (age appropriate things) and let me tell you it actually works. Tantrums are waaaay down. 
Ps baby has been here two weeks so it didn’t take too long but that may be due to her only being two.

I don’t have another kid BUT my boyfriend has a younger brother who is 7 turning 8 and they are VERY close as my boyfriend basically raised him. As soon as we brought our baby home he started misbehaving / acting out. He would scream/yell, throw things, want to be held like a baby too, want to try and sit in the strollers, car seats, etc. He would pretend he was sick from school so he could come home, he would fight with kids at school just to be sent home. It was getting pretty out of control, he just wanted to be near his brother. It’s a jealousy/attention thing. Just make sure you’re including him/her in stuff or have your boyfriend/husband watch the baby while you do activities or spend one on one time out somewhere with him/her. Make a certain hour or two during the day/evening that is just focused on them not the baby. It helps.

ABSOLUTELY! My 9 year old bonus daughter has been hitting my just turned six year old. My 4 and a half year old bonus (husband has full custody of his two before me) wants to do NOTHING and cries about EVERYTHING. And my bio daughter has been waking up in the middle of the night and sneaking downstairs and getting on tv and falling asleep on the couch before school and he’s not even here yet.
