Period day 10

Just need some advice has this happened to anyone I am on period day 10 at first my period was like normal heavy two days then lighter when I thought it was ended it was still ongoing. I had the same thing last month went to my gyn me she did a pelvic exam I had a Pap smear she said everything looked fine and I should just monitor it for the next three months. Has this happened to anyone? And I am ttc..
