This past weekend I went to Ocean City Bike Week with my husband and brother in law. We stopped at a Cracker Barrel for breakfast and my husband went up to the hostess and said “three” but my BIL was in the bathroom and I was about two feet away looking at cute stuff so I think she thought he was momentarily alone.

So I hear her ask if he’s in the area for bike week, he says yes, and she says that she had been there on Thursday and that it was hectic. At about this time I close the distance and go to stand by him cause I assume we’re about to be seated. She then says that she’s noticed something weird at bike week this year. She says that ya know, normally the skinny guys go for the skinny girls but this year they’re all going for the big girls. Then she looks right at me and says no offense- cause of course when you say no offense everything is fair game, right 🤷🏻‍♀️ Then she KEEPS GOING and says that all the skinny guys are there with these plus sized girls this year and she just doesn’t understand it. I kinda snappily said “well yeah cause we have all the fun” and then she looked at the ground like a sad puppy and said “ohhh.... yeah I don’t....” and I was like okay 🤷🏻‍♀️ I guess she was embarrassed but honestly good cause like wtf.

I wish I could say this was the first time something crazy like this has happened, but nope.

Update:

I had one person skeptical that this happened and that kinda blows my mind because this woman’s comments were so crazy I genuinely don’t think I could have made it up.

So I sent myself some pics of bike week from my husbands phone and I’ll put them up. For shits a giggles ya’ll can also have the real time text I sent my MIL when it happened. We joke that I need to let her outta me more and let my inner bitch out lol.

Not that I really have anything to prove though cause at the end of the day I genuinely lived it 🤷🏻‍♀️
