hi...my baby is 2 months old (10 wks) and has started drooling a lot and biting on her knuckles...ped said its possible shes starting to teethe...lately she has gotten very irritable to the point that she cries hysterically for about 5 mins...nothing will soother her...shes never liked pacifiers...so i rock her, sing to her, offer the breast as she is breastfed exclusively...and nothing works...she eventually gets so tired she falls asleep...im undecided whether shes just sleepy and is fighting it or whether she is teething and gums are itchy...she bit her knuckle and when she pulled her hand out, she started crying more...which makes me think she is teething...im a first time mom...what suggestions are there for this? how long will the irritability last?
